I am in shock…
Just a few hours ago at 6:05pm the worst catastrophe to ever hit Minnesota happened. A 2,000 ft stretch of 35-W interstate that travels over the Mississippi River collapsed into the river. More info about this story. This happened in the middle of rush hour, they have no idea just how many vehichles were actually on the bridge when it went down. I am okay….not sure if anyone I know was involved in this. This is a major stretch of bridge as you head in/out of downtown. I take this route all the time, as do many people who live here in the Cities. It is just unreal.
Please say some prayers for the people effected by this tragedy. Anyone who lives here in the Cities….please let me know you’re okay!

I agree with Adrienne… I’m glad you wrote something. I was going to call you guys, but the news reporters were telling the viewers not to call numbers in your area codes unless it was an emergency. I’m glad to hear that you’re ok… and I’m assuming that the rest of our (yours & mine) families are too. My friend from work texted me to tell me about it. I’m still in shock. The pictures/video I’ve seen on the news here are scary.

Hey Kristi, I can’t even believe it! It is so terrible. Earlier this week, my friend’s husband died. What could make this week worse? Honestly, I wish it were over. Bri doesn’t take that way to work so he’s fine. Thank goodness. Talk to you soon.
