Call me CHEESEY, but I wrote the following poem today for a poetry class I am teaching. The type of poems that we are studying this week are Acrostic poems.
This is dedicated to my BFFs, Kim, Mary, Lanee and Sonja
Best Friends Forever
Every girl is like Family
Sisters in Spirit
Taking care of Each Other
Friends since Junior High
Raised in the Same Town
Identify with One Another
Each of us a Unique Personality
Nothing can come Between Us
Dedicated to Each Other
Sonja, Lanee, Mary, Kim and Kristi
Fight like Sisters at Times
Or offer a Helping Hand
Reaching out during the Toughest Moments
Embrace the Experiences we have Together
Very Lucky to have such Close Friends
Each Girl means the World to Me
Respect and Value our Special Bond
