I may have mentioned before, but my little brother Jeff started a new blog last year called Funny Video Search. On his site he posts funny videos that he finds (or that people send to him), then he makes commentary about it. For one reason or another, Jeff finds stuff from the early 1990's the funniest and he loves to somehow connect the funniness he finds to me and the stupid things I used to do when I was just turning a teenager. Recently he posted the following video and blogged about the awesome MC Hammer Pants I used to wear circa 1990. Its true! I did have at least one pair of mom-sewn Hammer pants of my very own. They were the bomb! Check out this video, it is great!!
Watching this video was great! Those gold lame MC Hammer pants are the best! You can even buy a pair here. I had to laugh at all the moves of the dancers, totally brought me back in time 20 years. Just to prove that I once could do some of MC Hammer's moves back in the day, here I am making a fool of myself by trying to do the "Chinese Typewriter" that Hammer made so famous. Hope this makes you smile today!

I guess I am cool like that! LOL. I think its funny too, so I don’t care if
everyone gets a good laugh at my expense. If you had seen the rest of my
dance that I cut out you would have laughed even more hard!!!

Hey, I’m new here, but my first thought was that you must be pretty spunky and self-assured to post a video of yourself dancing. I won’t say I didn’t smile, but I didn’t laugh either. I did however wonder if you wore out your parents carpet practicing that when you were a teen.

I guess I am kind of spunky and pretty self-assured too. Mostly I just have
a good sense of humor and I don’t mind laughing at myself and acting like a
goofball at times :)
And yes, I wore my parents’ carpeting out dancing just about every night!
College apartment carpet was pretty worn out too ;)

What can I say?! After watching the Hammer Pants video you posted, I just
felt like dancing! Now I have had MC Hammer stuck in my head for the past 3
days! LOL
LMAO!!! That is great Kristi!! I can’t get my feet to move that fast. It’s funny you post this, I just saw on Good Morning America this weekend that Hammer pants are back!!!! I think you should buy yourself a shiny gold pair and then do another video for us. =)
