I've mentioned before that the weather around where I live has been really crummy this season. It seems like it has been either rainy or just dreary every day for the past month. We actually had a semi-decent day this Saturday with temps around 50' and no rain so I took advantage of the nicer weather and went on a short walk at Tamarack. The colors are past peak but some of them still looked pretty. You can see some of my Tamarack photos here.

Even in rainy Belgium the season is much kinder!
We can’t complain, I wish our weather would always be as wonderful as we had this whole year. Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall, all wonderful up until now!

Snow is predicted here tonight. Oh well, we have 10 cords of wood stored, enough food for a year and enough huckleberries to brighten our lives until next spring. Enjoy the rain – eventially a rainbow will show through.
This has been the oddest year for weather! We are slated for a high of 33 on Wednesday. We seem to have skipped fall and are barreling straight into winter!
