Okay, so while I am not a fan of facial hair (or body hair in general), I do support it when men grow a mustache or beard for a good cause.
Have any of you heard of the Movember movement?
“During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo’s, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and other cancers that affect men.”
With all that is done to promote Breast Cancer in the month of October, I think it is great that awareness for men’s health issues is gaining momentum and becoming more mainstream.
I have taken an interest in Movember in support of my brother Jeff, who is currently on day 9 of growing a mustache to raise money for this great cause. He feels so strongly about it that he even sported this mustache at his engagement party in Virginia this past weekend.
So now is your chance to let Jeff know that he is growing this ridiculous mustache for a good cause….. donate to Jeff’s Movember campaign :)
