My dear friend Noemy is in town right now, but she is most certainly not here on vacation. Rather, her mother suffered a massive heart attack this past Sunday and Noemy was fortunate enough to be able to fly up here to MN (from her home in California) to be with her mom. She is still in the ICU and could use many prayers.
I spent some time with Noemy at the hospital last night and we were beyond relieved when her mom opened her eyes for the first time in three days and was able to respond to a few simple commands. That is progress but she has a long road ahead.
Get well soon, Virginia. You have many friends and family who love and need you!

Me too but it isn’t looking good right now. She has fluid in her lungs and her kidneys are shutting down. Hopefully the doctors can help her!
