Mi Vida Ocupada

I tried somewhat to see if I could get another photo of downtown St Paul while crossing over the Hwy 52 Bridge.  Although it isn't as cool as the first photo I got from this perspective, I still think its pretty awesome…. I like how you can see more of the water.

These shots were taken at a restaurant I visited in So. St Paul, where there is the most beautiful natural view of an island on the Mississippi. (These were actually taken inside through a window!)
I love that everything is finally starting to turn green around the Twin Cities!

The sun finally made his appearance for a short while this morning before disappearing back behind the clouds.  I loved how white the sun looked as it peaked through the dark clouds.  This image was not edited at all, straight from camera! It looks like a B & W image but I assure you this was the true color of the sky and has not been converted.

Wasn't feeling good enough to stray too far from work on my lunch hour, so quickly took this photo of one of the Bell Towers at St Bernard's Catholic School which is located in the same neighborhood as my afternoon school. 




There are actually two bell towers at St Bernard's, but the lighting wasn't good enough to capture them both at that time of day (I will have to come back in morning when the sun is just coming up to get the ideal lighting)

It was a beautiful afternoon in St Paul today.  I took a detour through the city during lunch in hopes of collecting the last few entries in my Photo Scavenger Hunt.  I was not successful in my endeavor, but did get a few striking photos of the Capitol Building

Today has been an ugly, dreary day….so what better place to stop during lunch to take photos than at a local cemetery?  I had to use Google maps to find a cemetery near where I work, turns out there is a big one less than a mile away.
